The Project
This bungalow is an example of the kind of home that House Lifters have become accustomed to both selling and moving. The home has 141m2 of living space, 4 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a fireplace, full kitchen, a rather unique “turret” style design on one corner of the house, and a radiused bay window area protruding from the face of the home.
The process of relocation is reasonably straightforward. House Lifters sell the house, can guide you through the paperwork associated with moving a house, lift the house up, put it on the back of a truck, do any work necessary on the new site with regards to the foundations that the house is going to need to sit on, and place it down on the new site.
Note: House Lifters only relocate within the Auckland area.
Low-Cost
For some, this may be a solution to pick up a decent sized home at a low cost. Without any other costs involved, the asking price for this example is $23,500. The cost for moving this house would be somewhere between $45,000 to $75,000 for removal, transport, and relocation/reassembly. The price will change depending on the distance the structure will have to be moved and how complicated the move is.
